Has any one fitted a twin exit exhaust, (Single pipe exiting both sides) to their KV6 75/ZT?
Is there a system available off the shelf?
Longlife at Thornbury North Bristol have quoted me £469.00 to build me a cat back system on to my ZT. Plus the price of the tail pipes, (lots of options available) Plus I need to source a heat shield.
Bell Silencers of Swindon said they can build a custom exhaust to my car. I am hopeing to take it over to them next week for a quote.

Those oval tail pipes look bril on your 75, and what a great price, but Kent is a long way from Bristol, and I wouldnt really want to fit them my self because unlike your 75, my ZT rear bumper would require cutting. Although for £350 I could be tempted to have a go.

No he will make the system and fit it from scratch! Lol

But you will need to make 2 trips really! first one so he can work out what back boxes he needs / you want and how noisy you want it etc! Then a day to make and fit it!

Give him a call and see what he says!
I know that there is a petrol filter that’s in the way on the driver’s side! He did move mine the 2nd time round! I have had to diff systems fitted cos the first one was way toooooo noisy!

The price maybe more im not sure!

My local Longlife centre and Bell both said I would have to make two trips also for the same reasons.
Hopfully Bell will be a bit cheaper than Longlife? and Swindon is quite close to Bristol.

Wow, looks great. I agree dual exit exhausts do suit both the ZT and 75.
Was that a one off system by Powerflow, or off the shelf?
Hopfully the bumper trim should be same as Mk1 260 V8.

Nick.
The bumper trim is off the mk1 260 .. remember and ask for the drivers side though...

it was a one off system built for my car, its stainless steel cat back and cost just over £550.00 ...

They do look good, and I kind of fancy it myself.

But I am put off by the added weight of the 2nd exhaust/pipe-work - and it serves no real benefit other than the looks.

I have to say that Big GTs actual rear box suits the heat shield shape perfectly.

The added weight is nothing, the rear boxes are smaller and lighter than the original, so even with 2 rear boxes it probably doesn't weight much more - if any.

Mine was £425 including decat. The RH zorst trim was £16 and they fitted that too. The fuel canister was re-bracketed out of the way aswell.

Powerflow don't do off the shelf.
Thats a really good price for a custom stainless steel system considering they fitted the RH trim and re bracketed the fuel canister.
I looked on the Powerflow website and discovered my local fitting agent is infact Bell Silencer Services of Swindon.
I hope they will price match what you paid

I think pricing is down to the dealer, I don't think Powerflow stipulate pricing.

But you can always try. :D

powerflow dont do any pre built systems, everything they do is custom. go to any powerflow dealer and they will have lengths and lengths of straight piping, different backboxes and tailpipes all lying about.
u choose what style pipe u want, and then the different backbox alters the noise levels.

and there seems to be no set price, each build is priced according to how long the powerflow guy reckon it will take to build and which parts u have chosen.
