looks like 1k acrylic lacquer doing its usual eggshell finish from over application if you want my real honest opinion ....

Looks a lush finish

It's something I always did with my cars (B16 and B18 engines are easy to do in Honda's) and I'm sure the K series 1.8 engine I've got now in my ZT would be just as simple.

If you just want a fresh finish the Halfords range of spray paints is more than adequate but the Hammerite heat-proof spray paints work very well too

 

Id consider doing mine but dont think it would work that well on mine. My car is black and the plastic is black lol okay it would be shiny but thats about it.


Nice effort though give it a good polish as the resident sprayer says and it should look even better. Just look at his work and you will see why he thinks it needs inproving :rofl: Perfectionist is drdial and bloody good at what he does.

That is, frankly, bloody awesome quality of work going on there.

Spraying is an art form (I tried it once and it looked like Ray Charles had held the gun) so detail like that, to that standard, just blows me away.

Looks very good indeed. I saw your car at Hopwood services before the Pride of Longbridge rally (well, it's hard not to notice it!), love the colour scheme and the vinyls.
