There is a fantastic selection of MGR OEM alloys.... 18" include hairpins, straights, gridspoke, eleven spoke and apex... You will be hard pressed to improve on the originals... Plus the OEM alloys have a very high offset of 50mm.. If you are buying aftermarket wheels, you are very limited because not many are produced in high offset.. If you own a ZT190 or 260 model you will require at least 45mm offset to clear the brakes.. Always try before you buy!!!

Tbh as MGZTFAN says the originals suit the cars so well, and would be hard to improve on them, and also the 75/Zt is not really much of a Modders car in terms of adding lots of aftermarket mods tbh, that is more suited to the 25/ZR and 45/ZS cars tbh.

The 75/ZT are a bit more grown up cars tbh, not meant to offend in anyway btw, nothing wrong with nice subtle mods on any car.

Also given the general ages of 75/ZT owners a lot have probably grown out of changing wheels etc.

Nick,

my 190 now has it's oiginal alloys fitted (powder coated white) but I bought the Fox alloys of a guy with a 75 tourer in Leeds. They were nearly new and don't show any signs of being modified. It may be the spoke design as they curve more than the standard alloys so could give more caliper clearance.

Yep that may be it Will.. If you look at the clearance on your OEM alloys, you will see only about 5mm gap between the wheel and calliper. I think normal design wheel will require at least 45mm offset, maybe 47-48mm not to rub the calliper. Shouldnt be such a problem with the 120/135/160 models with the smaller brakes!

yes from what i can see its the spoke clearance thats the major factor. obviously excess stress on suspension components is also a major factor but apart from bearings i dont see anything to worry about as its not driven hard

i wanted to stay clear of spaces but i suppose if they are well engineered ones with suitable bolts its only like having more metal on the inside part of the wheel

Put on 18 inch Team Dynamics Monza RS in black with blue stripe, and yes every time i phoned the nerdowell's who eventually supplied them,i had to repeat it over and over again.50 mm offset came with Falken tyres 225/40/18,these turn out to be 50 pound a tyre,225/45/18's are 105 pound a tyre.
Sorry no photo

I take it,you got them in spain. The polished ali should look nice against the dark blue.

What do they know,i'll try and get some pic's uploaded, only just moved, dammed if i can find the lead to my camera.
