Given the lack of numbers (we'd need at least 40), I've had to cancel the Leman's style booking. However, they are running an 'Open' Grand Prix event on that day which means that we can still attend, its just a different format and everyone is racing everyone else, there are no teams.

Its basically split into heats and the top 10 at the end of the heats have 1 race at the end.

Overall, you get around 30-45mins racing anyway, so time wise, its around the same for the money.

Ooh, except I think this is £5 less!

So, we don't need a set number, so if you want to come, simply send me the money and I'll get you booked in!

Hi all, wish I'd have spotted this thread sooner, but I work currently on a karting curcuit in Coseley. We do open Le-Man style endurances once a month on monday nights where only having three teams to enter wouldn't be a problem. Obviously if you've already paid money to the track I don't expect you to cancel it and potentially lose deposits, but if not, then I work at an alternative venue, so if you've got any questions then fire away.

Probably best to cancel it as there has been no firm bookings (apart from 2), I'll return those payments.

I'll have a word with Dunny, really we need a venue who will allow us to book a date and not insist on 50% upfront within a week to secure it. I'm sure its fine for commercial track days, but it doesn't work for us.

Yeah, we'll arrange one at the new place next year. The new track I've been to (Dunny's above) is far, far better than Birmingham. It even has a bridge!

I would arrange one for this year, but it'll end up being too close to XMas, unless no-one minds?

They have open GP and Lemans style races that we can join, so we don't need to have an exclusive day. Cheaper as well. £35 for a GP and IIRC, £150 for a team the Lemans. So if there is 4 in a team, its £35, if there is more its simply £150 divided by those in the team.
