I've just fitted one to my 84ps 1.4 25 along with a new throttle cable. Took approx 30 mins and the difference is amazing. I can't thank the people in these forums enough for giving me the technical knowhow and courage to rip apart my 2 week old car. As for the Zed, I won't be modifying that just yet.

Think I might start a thread asking for people to bring tools of all shapes and sizes tomorrow!! I think I may need them!! Maybe Steve Taylor can bring his!! After all he's already done it so he must have them!!

the problem is that if you leave off the www bit and people see 'mg-rover.org' it doesn't look like a website address, the .org domain extension isn't really a well known one, sure if it was mg-rover.com then it wouldn't be a problem, IMO they need the www bit on them to make sense as a website URL.

Ah, that was the bl**dy filter elbow - it was real tight to get back on.....sorted with Stu's WD40

 

and a bit of careful! hand wrenching.:bgrin:

We'd have to fill our steam cleaner with petrol (Don't do it guys....) to get enough steam up to shift all that krud :doh:
