Interesting but I am quite surprised you didn't get pulled for that to be honest. They usually clamp down on people trying to transport items in an unsuitable vehicle. Glad you got home safely though without any issues.

Tourer FTW IMHO it is a much more practical and useful car than the saloon even if the saloon looks better.

Good effort fitting that in there, I'm also surprised the boys in blue didn't give you an ear bashing. I got a right rollocking for carrying a sofa in my 75 with the tailgate open. Used plenty of straps, too!

In Norway, The trailer has its own registration, plate number and insurance

 

Jeff, do you know how heavy the KV6 engine is and how did you get it in the boot? Was 2 of you able to lift it or did you use a hoist?
