Hi all,
On friday last week I took a visit to Z&F to sort a few problems out with my car, and get a nice juicy remap =)

I have to say it was the best thing I did for my car. Mark really really knows what he is talking about, and gave my engine a really good health check. He tests all the sensors and readings live, while you're driving and at idle and very very quickly diagnosed the problem with my engine, which was soon resolved (2 wires snapped off the tps doh!) After the health check was completed and all was running well it was time for the remap.

Driving home was a pure delight. Just normal everyday driving is soo much easier and smoother, the engine response is fantastic and everything feels so much better. The improvement in power for me has been immense. I am running a 160 with ITG Maxogen, Janspeed 4-2-1 Sports cat, custom exhaust. With marks remap the car pulls like a train to 130 (on a private airstrip that I rented out for the afternoon) and wants to keep on going.

I recommend Mark's services to anyone that can, and will gladly demonstrate how effective his work is to anyone in the local area who wants to come for a spin.

Cheers.
Zach.

I can certainly vouche for Marks knowledge and dedication. He spent ages last year at MG Live trying to develop a map for mine after the terrible results I had on a roling road with the fuel mapping. After several trips back and forth to his we have finally got a very useful and useable map and even went on to start working out some fun things such as a 'demandable' pop back on over run.

Just in case you were wondering what I am running it is a PTP conversion from a 1.4 to a 1.8 with high lift cams, alloy plenum chamber, 52mm TB. I have added a CF ITG Maxogen induction kit and a full Janspeed exhaust including branch manifold and sports cat.

On the rolling road it was pushing (a very poor) 147bhp but the fuel map was all over the place. I have yet to have a remap again but I was down the strip at Santa Pod yesterday with a 16 sec/89mph which is within .2 of a second what some similary equipped 160's were doing. If my reacition times were better (.9 seconds) then I might have done even better.

Best money I have ever spent with Z and F

Sorry for the bumping of an old thread, Zach's pm limit has been reached...

Just came across your thread about ZandF tuning in Bromsgrove, i'm only in Redditch and looking for a local reputable place to get my zs 2.0 td mapped.

Just wondering if you had any links to their website or any info for me as i can't find them! lol

Just out of interest how much did they charge you?

Thanks, Ben
