I want to replace my 2 year old 75 with a new one, but my local dealer closed 2 years ago ! I tried phoning MGROVER at Longbridge, no one seems to answer the phone.Even the MGROVER build your model web site seems to be having problem loading for me ?

I really cant figure out why the local dealer closed, he sold lots round here, I guess someonther garage must be doing is trade, although I cant find him, not even seen any adverts round this way for new MGROVER cars what going on ?

I think at long last all the new unregistered Rovers are sold.. Two local dealers have finally shifted their last 75 1.8, a streetwise and a 45 during the last couple of weeks.

It may have to be a new MG for you.. Same deaaler still has a show room full of ZT135 Diesels, All model TFs, and even a ZR160 and ZS120.

Nick.

I know what you mean, Northstand. My local Hillman dealer not only has gone out of business, but the site has been demolished and replaced with lots of 1970s housing.

I can't understand it.

Yeah I noticed a housing block going up in Peckham, what's that all about, churning over a park to make temporary housing, what ever next, they'll expect people to live in them well into the years 2000 + at this rate, that is not gonna happen.. :)

Ah well, at least we can rely on Britains motor industry - the best in the world - to last into the twenty first century.

Although I did notice that that well known Birmingham firm of Alldays and Onions have ceased building motor carriages.

Yeah surly, Britain will still have a big industry well into the year 2000. Great Britian is so called because we are Great...

Great Britain = GONE BACKWRADS

I've heard of Queensbury rules, but Atherstone rules? Do these read "yes you've got a railway station but no we won't let you use it"? ;)

Saying that a dealer will be flats soon reminds me of a company I once heard of where everyone got a company B*W and it was said the company car park had more B*Ws than the local dealer.

Of course, the company went bust. Spectacularly.
