Need pictures, also have a look around the forum or some of the progress blogs to get some ideas.

If you find something that is on a mk1 zed it will definitely fit your car. Also rear lights from any of the bubbles will also fit...

After I have seen the pictures of your car will input what I think you could do ;)

I am taking some ZR headlights off my car soon (changing to younger 25) also have some clear lens (havn't got the grided look of standard) smoked front indicators only 2 months old and my r25 passed MOT with them on. Also got a set of Fog's coming off it near side one has one clip glued but its held for 12 month. bezzles are BR green though. The switch had green LED instead of orange bulb back light too. Have a modded heater control with 10 green LED's fitted to it to back light and white dials to let green through. And also a Rover 220 coupe arm rest with a leather lid cover.

ZR head lights do look meaner.

If you go to colour code the rub-strips either source ones in the right colour (am I right in thinking that is a paint-code shared by the MG's) or source MG ones in the wrong colour to repaint, repainting the textured black ones is a pain.

Don't forget the handles, I think they make the 25 look dated more than the rub-strips do. :dunno:

Colour coding the side rubbing strips and bumper inserts transforms the appearance of these cars.

My local Auto Paint specialist can make up a 400ml shaker can for about twelve quid which is more than enough to cover all the side strips and bumper inserts. They always achieve a near perfect colour match unlike some places I could mention. Better job if you carefully remove them all to spray. Lot of work but, carefully masking the black stuff will almost be as good.

The advantage removing the strips from the car enables them to be rubbed down smooth prior to painting which will ensure a nicer finish to the painting.
