Mine is without doubt the 206 CC

It is always driven by 40+ fat women with bleached hair
it's not sporty
the back seats are useless
it's slow
comes in silly gay clours
alway driven with the fog lights on
it offends my eyes
the people drive them think they are special, how do they feel when someone pulls up next to them in an real convertible? SLK, 6 Series convertible, XKR Convertible, Saab 9-3 Convertible etc, etc?
they are French
they are based on a 206
they are a Peugeot

I have driven one two years ago, I kept the roof up, it was slower than a standard version still had the silly driving postion. I couldn't wait to get out of it

Closely followed by a 1007 the stupid electric slow door and stupid gormless face, it looks like a disabled car.

So unbelievably accurate! They are vile things.

I hate the older shape Toyota Corolla 1997-2002, I dread seeing one ahead of me in the distance on a B-road or single carriageway A road. They always cruise at a steady 45-50 which is slow enough to bore and irritate but just about quick enough to make overtaking awkward without a decent clear stretch.
For the same reason, I'd also like to add the Honda Jazz. Great little cars - very innovative, well built and reliable but they seem to incapable of getting up to the speed limit.

You need a decent L series under the bonnet!!! :dddc:
Then it wouldn't be a problem :broon:

The 307 is equally as bad, with the stupid rear bulge.

The car I hate the most though is the BMW 3 Series. Boring to look, driven by middle aged fat blokes who think they can park anywhere, ignore all road signs and who tailgate you at less than a metre thinking they own the road.
Then again, thats the same for any BMW driver!

The Micra is also a hideous car to drive and is sooooo ugly!

Asthetics, it's like not fancying a fat. ugly woman then she starts talking and then you actually hate her (well dislike her a lot) it's kind of the same with a car you don't like it when it gets launched they you see the kind of people that gravitate to it, and then you see millions of them familiarity breeds contempt.. then you see them posing with their Victoria Beckham shades on, add that to driving with your fog lights on trying to look cool, I appreciate what you said, but trust me it is possible to hate a car (or the way it looks at least) I would like to add any French car Modus, Vel Satis, Espace, 307 407, C2, C1 etc I wouldn't touch one personally.

I'd agree with that.

But the worst car ever ever ever ever ever is.......

The new VW Bettle...

Pointless, ugly, space in-efficent, slow, gay/hippie -looks, horrible interior, horrible exterior, disgusting, vile, long backside looks all wrong, trying-to-be-retro and it it has a dash that takes up half the car. Just generally, it's a really crap car.

I mean it comes with a flower holder... no joke!!!

It is driven by people who-

  • have no life
  • are women going through a mid-life crisis, who suddenly realise they are going grey, have had kids and just want to go to the nearest skyscraper.. topfloor.. and jump.
  • wannabe hippies who think they have "flowers in their hair" and who were "born too late to a world that doesn't care"
  • people who think they are "cool" because they are different

Funnily enough, we've just finished a job in Eze in the last couple of days and apart from one miserable cow in a Le Clerc services shop, everybody was utterley charming, perhaps they behave in the way they're treated :dddc:

Phil it's not often I agree with you but yes the Yaris is a pretty stipid car, you can either have rear leg room or a small boot but you can't have both instead you get a silly seat that can be rolled forward or backwards, what genius came up with that? And they are almost always driven by miserable coffin dodgers who take great delight in doing 35mph in a 60mph zone and 20mph in a 30mph zone?

I thought this was a hard question, until I read this:

Can't really argue with that, it has to be the New Beetle.

The fake BINI (BMW mini) How dare they take such a classic car and turn it into a clunk nothing like the original.
All driven by boy racers or blond hairdressers who think they are fab driving a 'retro' mini....THEY ARE A BMW NOT A REAL MINI.
It will never be a classic like the Rover mini and looks stooopid with the flag roof etc...Bring back the real mini's!!!
:D

The old Audi TT without doubt.

This is based on experience not (just) predjudice:
  • Drivers ignoring pedestrians
  • Drivers using mobiles without handsfree kits
  • They are devoid of indicators
  • The styling is a poor rip off of the beautiful Porsche 356
In short they are basically either:
  • A spelling mistake - there are two letters missing between the two Ts
  • A Golf in a frock (shame because the Golf is quite nice)
  • A source of embarassment for owners of Audi A6s and A8s (owners of these seem to hate them)
  • A reminder that I probably need a haircut

BMW 1 SERIES just because im allowed too.

Rover 25s when they are being driven embarisingly slow, i want to nuge them along with the ZS. (As in 40 in a 60 zone)

Toyota Corrola (one before the last type) simply because its a very badly designed car (to look at anyway) and it just looks souless.

Vauxhall Vectra, its a box on wheels and is lifeless. Plus i dont get the anglar dash.

Pugeot 207, its the car which is a mess, and i was looking forward to it untill i saw the interoir and just how big it is, its no longer a small car but its now a large hatch. and will Pugeot ever find out their brand identity?

citroen saxo's i hate the styling the clutch is to close to the brake pedal so when i changed gear i would hit the brake pedal as well worst courtesy car i have driven.
young youths think they are cool and usually driven with fog lights on basically the saxo is the nova of the millennium

Golf GTIs or Golf/Audi TDIs, especially black ones.

Most are driven by people who seem to think they are a supercar, when actually they are just a slowish hot hatch that cost them WAY to much. The look boring and are not prestigious at all, they are 'dead common'.

agree about the Golf GTI - allthough the new one the R32 is actually quite quick. 0-60 in 6.5 or 6.6 seconds or something like that. BUT in order to do that it requires ÂŁ24k of your money and a 3.2 litre V6 engine...and they look mumsy and the seats are very uncomfortable....

...You could buy an old Rover 220 coupe turbo which costs what, ÂŁ1500? spend a few hundred making it perfect and then you have a car that actually looks nice and very stylish, is faster than the R32 (220 turbo gets to 60 in about 6.3 seconds I think?) yet has a 2.0 litre engine! has comfortable seats etc.

IMO you would have to be stupid to buy a R32.

#41 ·
I agree. Yes it handles well and all (if a tad dull), but you could buy a 220 or 420 turbo, fit coilovers, poly bushes, steel cage gearbox bearings and have the whole lot set up properly and get change from about ÂŁ2k. The R32 wouldnt be able to keep up.
Ok i know its not likely to be a choice between the 2 if you have ÂŁ25k to spend on a car, but there is no doubt the Golf is over priced.

The 220 and 420 are faster in a straight line as standard yes, i have experience of this myself, but around a track i seriously doubt it!

Interestingly though, the new GTI isnt any faster than a mildly modded 220. All it takes is a half decent lowering kit. The new GTI doesnt have any form of mechanical traction control. The Rover has the torsen diff, and it really does help in tight corners. The Rover is just to soft as standard, its easily fixed.

To be honest the Rovers are frustratingly close to greatness, a little more time spent on the suspension could have made them great cars.
