I've had my 25 for about 3 weeks now, its a 1.4 84ps but throttle body has been derestricted, its still a plastic TB but it opens fully. I've had an old 214 spi and I felt that was quicker! The 25 won't even wheel spin, no that ive been trying purposely. I was thinking maybe the TB is off an old 214 and is restricting it somehow? Or could there be an underlying issue?

try a bigger alloy TB?
Nothing huge as the massive ones have no benefit, but in sure the plastic ones taper in thinner in the middle.
So a little bigger would help a treat.
Id get a Cable with it too just to be sure.

used carb cleaner and changed filters / plugs on mine the other day... engine is so much quieter now... haven't really noticed much difference in fuel... just got the oil left to do tonight...
oh bought everything on ebay... £25 for the fuel, oil, air filter,pollen and the plugs... NGK standards... (same as the ones I pulled out)... can pay a lot more for the iridium plugs but I don't see the point...
made a hell of a difference... don't know when it was last serviced though... only had it for 2 months...
