Two questions

1. What springs would I need to get to lower slighly and stiffen up the handling on my V6 75?

2. Can I just buy a ZT back box to fit on to my 75, or will I need to change the whole system? The reason I ask is I have bought a ZT rear bumper and my 75 exhaust points downwards and misses the space in the bumper for a ZT exhuast.

Many thanks

1. The ZT Sports suspension pack will add stiffness to it, but you will need to change the anti roll bars aswell as the springs and dampers. On the diesel you will need to add a rear anti roll bar if yours is one of the cars without one.

2. Your exhaust does point downwards as it stops the bumper surface above the tail pipe exit getting covered in soot.

As Ex tester says you'd need to add a roll bar if it's not fitted if you wanted to fit ZT springs and dampers. The front is an "easy" swap, the rear springs are harder as the entire rear subframe must be dropped down to get to the springs. Not a straight forward job and very time consuming if you havent got supports to hold the entire rear end.

As for the 190 box, yes it will fit, however to fit the box, you'll need to cut your old system as the R75/MG exhaust system is a one piece system. You'll need to cut it and do the "service" fix to get the box to mate up with the sytem. All you need to do is undo the clamp bolts to the left and right of the box and then cut out the old box. Fitting is just a reversal.

What you may find is though because you're adding a 190 box to a 2.0ltr engine, you may introduce some exhaust or cabin booms at certain engine revs or throttle loading positions as you've introduced new engine/exhaust harmonics into the car.

HANDLING:
Sorry I am a complete idiot when it comes to anything to mechanical, throttle loading positions? exhaust or cabin booms? Although I think that is what I experience anyway, when I accelerate and change gear I often get an upleasant jolt and weird bang kind of sound, is that what you are refering to? If so would this be more dramatic or is this a sign something is wrong with my car?

EXHAUST:
When you say cut it do you mean actually cut out the back box with say an angle grinder, if so how do you seal it up again, as surely a weld would snap with the vibrations?
