If it's the same as the F (2001 onwards), there are three Lucar terminals in the passenger compartment fusebox numbered 3, 4 and 5..

They are switched lives.

I'd recommend fitting an in-line fuse to each accessory you feed to.

Thanks for your response, much appreciated and just in the kind of style I was hoping for to help me with this. Unfortunately, my fuse box is as per pics below. There does not appear to be anything similar on the TF fusebox, that is, unless someome can advise otherwise?

 

Take the switched live that you are using and use it to supply the coil of a relay.

Route a fused cable from the battery through the contacts of the relay to a mini fusebox (available from Halfords etc) and you can then have sperate switched feeds to whatever you want.

 

I'm sure that is sound advice and that it will work but I got lost at the 'coil of a relay' bit. Said I'm not familiar with electrics LOL!!

I'm on with that just now I got an 8 way fuse box from eBay and I'm moving all the extras from the fuse box to it , was getting a bit silly in there

30A each terminal. They were designed to accomodate seat heaters.

 

For an earth do you just tap into any earth wire or self tapper a screw into the tunnel with a ring crimp ?

 

I just use a ring connector on an existing earth screw!
