Scratched Door

Hi All,

I got some pretty nasy scratching on my drivers door on our MGF, had a disagreement with a parking space and grazed the door on a concrete post.

The damaged area is about 20 square inches but luckily not dented. I have been quoted £180 (cash small local coachworker) to paint the door and fade into the rear quarter/wing as he says just painting the door may not be a complete colour match.

Firstly does this sound about right? Its a 1996 BRG MGF, would I be better off/cheaper getting a door of one from the breakers? Is it easy to change a door?

Thanks guys for any advice.

Steve.
