Not for the 400 they won't.

Paper ones no longer exist and the dealer won't sell a CD. Brown and Gammons will sell you a ZS one for £50 as you say.

So, ZS yes you can buy a legal copy in PDF form, 400 no you can't.

 

Find a dealer who has just closed, go to the 'fire' sale and buy the manual.....

 

Or just buy a haynes manual for a darn site less hassle.

 

My local dealer sold me a cd.

They were a bit funny about it at first, however under the same rules that meant that T4 had to be available to anyone they must make the manuals available. So I got a cd in the end. However I agree, unless you are into seriously complex DIY repair work and are experienced or are in the trade, a Haynes manual is all you need, more commonly available and a damn sight cheaper.

 

T4 available to anypne? That's a new one on me!

I can't see them letting Joe Public use it willy-nilly.

Technical Information availability under the Block Exemption thing, but use of T4?!

 

I have the RAVE CD and I dont see why it's such a big deal not letting people have it.
I use it mostly to see how to dismantle things I want to fix, it rarely tells you how to make a bomb or comunicate with alqaeda.

T4 is available to anyone who wants to buy it.

Not cheap though.

 

I believe the legality under block excemption is only to VAT registered garages, not joe public.

The manufacturer probably will seel you a T4 unit, but not sure what software and maps etc it would come with as these probably have to be bought from MGR.

 

Hmm, maybe I got it 'cos I know the guys at my local dealerships parts dept really well then...
