Before I take the plunge and buy two new ones just wondered if anyone had ever found a replacement for the track rod end of one of these?

I've seen that the Rover 200 ones fit the F but it seems the only option for the TF is to buy whole new arms like these RGD000571

It certainly was the case that the bearings in those arms were at one point declared unsuitable for Polybushes because of the fact they are actually bearings and not bushes, however the part number on Rimmers (RGD000571POLYINNER & RGD000571POLYOUTER) would suggest otherwise, they certainly look right in the pictures too. I always assumed it was a Rimmers error and these were the bushes that fit into the trailing arm's rear end (upper and lower) however the illustration appears to support the lower link theory... Who's feeling flush to buy a set to check?!

The polybush site doesn't actually list them, it also appears to contradict itself (diagram and seperates list) http://www.polybush.co.uk/shop/view...Kit_108_MGTF_Rear_Suspension_Bush_Kit/534_Kit_108_MGTF_Rear_Suspension_Bush_Kit

If it's anything like the F ones.. They are spherical joints.. And can't be replaced with poly bushes..

But can be replaced with rose joints.. If someone knocked up some new custom arms..

I had one made.. As a test.. But as I don't have a TF I didn't continue..

My F ones use rose joints instead of the non serviceable joints as fitted at factory

Just a quick update, as the ends for the original arms didn't seem to be available and neither did new adjustable arms I bought the fixed arms from here:

Not a bad price I thought

Using CJJ's great guide http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=466801&highlight=jack+hub+arm it was a pretty easy job.

Haven't taken it out on the road yet as the tyre I thought was close to the legal limit is now on (or maybe just below) the legal limit  but just checking the movement of the wheel now, I know it's a great improvement.
