Well put ethel the tourer in today for her MOT and she failed, well i sorta knew she would anyway.

Known issues -
Rear Trailing Arm Bushes
Front Caliper Sticking

MOT Found in addition
OSR Brake Pipe Excessive Corrosion
Power Steering Rack Shot to Hell ( I thought she was just heavy in comparison to my Honda Jazz)
Requires New Downpipe in addition to the supplied backbox and centre pipe.

So i am supplying them with the following parts to fit

New Trailing Arm Bushes
Calipers (thanks rover220)
New Centre Pipe
New Back Box

They are supplying & fitting

New Power Steering Rack
New Downpipe

As i say i thought the Steering was just heavy compared to the daft wee honda, but in the last week she has become a nightmare to keep in a str8 line above 60 and as soon as you let go the steering wheel she will DART off to the right, not drift, DART!. Very sore on the arm keeping her running str8.
Cost for all of the aboev to be done is coming in at ÂŁ360 including the MOT fee, is this reasonable, its booked in for next monday.

PS - I have faith in the garage that they aint lying or trying to pull a fast one in respect of what needs done as they are a very well respected bunch, and have nothing but a good reputation.

Thanks
