Can anyone tell me what to look at to determine where my front TOYOS are from please.

Also has anyone mixed front toyos and rear falkens yet, do they behave?

My rears are in need of replacement and will get another pair of toyos unless it would be the Japan Malaysia mix in which case I think I will go for falkens.

I have got the falken ziex 914 - 215/40 r16. They seem ok so far but need scrubbing in! Problem I had with the toyos is they lasted a year, albeit I did do 10k! They are soft summer tyres, so do wear down quickly! But glad the falkens are being recommended as seem a bit better for longevity according to reports!

Hi, needed to replace my entire set of worn gsd2s and ordered 4 toyos. The rears are japanese and the fronts Malaysian. Transformed the handling straight away in a very good way. The tread pattern is identical and i cant see the compound making as much of a difference as a completley different make. Im happy with em.

As I mentioned before, just put Falkens on the rear to replace Japanese Toyos (still have the Japanese Toyos on the front) and so far has been very good! I have play in my TRE's at the minute, so getting those replaced very soon, so can't give a definitive answer, grip is good after a few hundred miles. Will update again soon!

I've recently had Yokohama S.Drive's fitted to my car to replace the motley collection of ditch finders it had previously. Seems much more sure-footed, although I don't drive it particularly 'enthusiastically' ahem, ahem!
Unfortunately, they are no longer available; in fact they became unavailable between me deciding to fit them and having the first one fitted to replace an unrepairable flat. I had to have the other three imported from Germany by an internet retailer.
