I can't get my radio out grrr

Don't move it to the ICE thread...yet please.

I'm having a difficult time taking the leads out of my standard unit. The black power lead has a weird screw, haven't bothered with it yet.

The other 2 connectors: The one (grey coloured) at the bottom comes out easily, but can't pull out the yellow one :cus: :cus: :cus:
It's doing my head in, any ideas? ICE dealers charge 20 quid.

Any Brummies here?

Not to sound dumb and patronising but is this the standard rover stereo, if so its just simple push in the notch and pull out the cables, and the black power lead with a weird screw, never known any power lead to be black, me thinks you mean the aerial, if so it just pulls out, it just looks weird cause its shaped so it stays in, just yank it hard

Pushing the clip in doesn't work, it's so damn tight, it won't pull off.

If it's really tight just use a small flat headed screwdriver.....push the catch in and then use the screwdriver to 'lever' the connector out....mine was pretty tight when I removed it, and this is the best way I've found to get them out....

othwise u can go to local rough concil estate

find a kid on the corner give him £5 and he will get it out :lol: :lol:
