I'm trying to find a site, which lists the specs, and performance of all makes and models of cars.

I know there is a site, as I have been there before, but I need to find it again to prove a point at my local.

CAN ANYONE HELP?

I am going mad trying different things on google.

I'm trying to compare car performance figures, to help me decide what to buy next. No-one has yet mentioned the site I am looking for.

ukcar.co.uk, may be it, but I'm sure the one I have used before is a free site.

Just trying to work out whether or not to buy a Ford Probe. Currently have a Laguna. Sorry, not a Rover anymore.

I am still however, an avid fan of this site - there are no Renault forums to even touch it.

See you soon!

Its not accurate!
Its got the 45 Td down as having a 10.5:1 compression ratio and mems3 fuel injection!
The power and torque figures are correct though.
Trouble is, if they are making these elementary errors, can you rely on them?
Thanks for pointing out these errors Ron. Unfortunately that is how MG Rover supplied the specs via their press site. Sometimes I'm alert enough to catch such elementary mistakes, other times unfortunately I don't. On the next database update (anything from days to weeks, no fixed schedule) the figures will be correct.

Being one of those that are privileged to view the press site, this is simply not MG Rover's error. The last update of the information was May 2004 and it comes down to the site in question not updating it's information regularly enough.

Zak is blaming the MG Rover press site, but this is completely untrue.

I find it hard to believe MGR would make such elementary errors.
It looks like a 'copy and paste' mistake by some lazy individual!

Fine, believe what you like. All I am saying is that that is how MGR had it in their spec sheets when I, the "lazy" individual in question, captured the info. Sometimes I manage to catch these errors before publication, sometimes not. Regardless of whether you believe me or not (and yes, I did actually save the specs as supplied so I did check) the error will be fixed. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention. By the way, sometimes just dropping me a line to notify me of such errors is a good way of getting such rectified...
