Hi, currently have the bulb warning lamp on :(

I've already checked the rear number plate lamps - which were intermittent....fixed that problem (after searching the forums) but the lamp is still on.

I've checked the lights again and found the off-side sidelight out........I've replaced the bulb and still no joy, i've checked with a multi meter and there's no current going to the lamp holder.........all the other lights are working fine....any idea's would be appreiciated....thanks, Dave

Double-check the rear lights. If a bulb blows, the OBD system turns on the brake light at low power to double up as a temporary rear. At first glance, everything looks OK until you check which bulbs are actually being used.

EDIT: Sorry, I misunderstood your problem. Ignore the above (or take a mental note for next time).

A front lamp can go if the wiring chafes on the badywork behind the bumper. Fairly common issue. Needs bumper off to fix.

Double check all bulbs. I replaced one in the back and the warning light still kept flashing intermittently. I went through them all again methodically and found one that was difficult to fit. I think there was a fault in the holder gripping the bulb. Once I managed to sort it out everything returned to normal and no more warnings.

Yes have checked for volts at the front and there's nothing so I'm guessing the bumper may have chaffed the wire?!?!? Looks like it's bumper off then :(

Dunno how I'm gonna break it to the wife, I've only had the car two weeks and she's already complaining I'm spending too much time on it (servicing, cleaning other niggly faults!)

Thanks Guys

Will let you know the outcome when she lets me do it!!!!
