Handbrake Light?

hi,

Recently whenever I put my foot down in first and second my hand brake light comes on but as soon as i lift off it goes off again. I have looked at the sensor on the handbrake lever and if seems fine. Do you have any idea why this would hapen???? :banghead:

Low brake fluid level.

Check it ASAP......plus the cause of the low level.

Low level might just be the pads / shoes wearing over time.... normally a topup every 6 - 12 months is needed.... but then you have to take it out again when replacing the pads....

Anyone doing this should use an old "Ink Cartridge Refill Syringe" or similar... I did at the weekend and it's much safer than sucking on a tube...

Thanks for the help guys.

I toped up the fluid and the light did go off. Since then I have Changed my front brakes for a set of EBC turbo groove disc and green stuff pads and new calipers to take vented discs.
