Afternoon - driving today, I had warnings that the auto main beam/lane assist etc camera wasnt working. I’m assuming that they need cleaning, which we tried briefly but didn’t make a difference. The large “box” seems to have a textured surface which doesn’t seem but I think there are 2 other sensors; just wondering where they are & the s it likely to be a cleaning issue?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hi, The front camera is in the centre of the windowscreen at the top and the black box sensor is on the front bumper in the bottom/centre.
The camera is for auto main beam/lane assist etc and does from time to time in bright sunlight or if front window screen is not properly defogged so leave the front window screen high fan button on for a bit longer.
The black box sensor is for the cruise control distance and anti collision etc.

I have found after having my brand new HS exclusive for 4 weeks now that unless MG put an anti Glare around this camera on the windowscreen or something it may cause an issue during daytime driving....at night there are no issues so far.
However another issue I am finding is that the front wheel tyre pressure are set on the recommended 21/22 but have had to set them up to 22/23 as many speed bumps in my area and always seems to come up with the warning.

Hope this helps..

Hope this helps

Hi Gavla77
Thanks for your response. Not surprisingly on the drive home, there weren’t any issues with the sensors, so no warnings.
I’m now only dealing with a front right tyre low pressure warning even though both front tyres are reading identically, and have been since the warning first displayed. As the car was a bit dirty (understatement!), I treated it to a well deserved clean but I wasn’t rewarded with the low tyre pressure warning disappearing, unfortunately!

Thanks to all who responded to my original post.
