As above, any tips how to remove it. I presume the it's just come unglued from the backing.

I’ve replaced a couple of these. The guide dert has attached is good, this is my short version which is virtually the same without the pictures.

First you need to remove the headlining. With the hard top laying on its back, remove the allen screws holding the catches in place. Next, take out the two fir tree plugs at the back of the headlining, ease them out with a trim removal tool or similar. There may be a couple of pieces of Velcro holding it in above each door. The headlining should now come out.

It’s a good idea before you remove the old fabric to see how they finished the edges.

You now need to remove the old fabric, carefully pull it off, don’t try to reuse it as it’s the foam backing that fails, get some new material from the likes of Woolies (no, not the long closed shop), here is an example but not a recommendation Brushed Nylon Headlining I chose black I think it suits the car.

With the fabric pulled off you need to remove as much of the old foam as you can, you can get rid of most of it by rubbing your had over it, finish cleaning it by rubbing gently with some coarse sandpaper. Once the biscuit is clean you can begin to attach the new material, to do this you need a can of upholsterer’s spray adhesive. The biscuit is an odd shape but the material is quite forgiving, try not to stretch it too much over the dips and beware of getting creases, an extra pair of hands will help.

Once the fabric has stuck you can finish the edges. Leave 15 to 20mm spare at the edges spray a bit of adhesive around the edges on the back and fold the fabric over.
