Okay, bit of a funny one here but. I've always liked the look of the F and TF and temptation is starting to get the better of me, but before I start looking properly (and thus set my sights on one) I wonder if you guys can give me some advice, namely being, at 6'4 and average build am I too big for a MGF or a TF? I should also point out that if I were to get one it would be my daily car, not just a weekend toy. So pipe dream or back off lanky it'll never work?

Well the figures are in and......due to an exploding boiler at home the hunt for an MGF is having to be postponed as the mgf fund will now need to be used to sort that out. Disappointed yes, but this does mean I can start the hunt again proper in September which hopefully means there will be bargains to be had as the fair-weather drivers try to sell for the winter. So for the time being I'll be living my MGF and TF dream through you good folks. (if nothing else means I can get ideas for the eventual purchase anyway)

You and I both but I had to think with my head on this one so something had to give, never an easy choice to make but the right one on this occasion. The F when I get it will be my daily anyway and if nothing else will make it all the more special when I can get wrapped up for a Dawn blast with the roof down hehe

Well what a difference 2 months makes, had some very good news last night and am now in the position to buy an F again (Woo Hoo). Budget isn't as great as I'd like £1750 maybe a smidge more but that would be pushing it, but on the plus side at least it means I can go topless now while the weather is getting better.

Right well we have a front runner with a very nice and tidy looking F in the for sale forum here which I'm going to look at tonight.........I have in no way mentally purchased the car in any way shape or form.......(rinse and repeat until I believe it)
