Aah yea the gumball rally, like watching these tbh but everytime i watch it its more like lambo's, porsche's, really powerfull cars... I would like to actually see someone do it in a Rover/Mg... Especially as its a race to see who gets to the checkpoints/ end first

 

I wanna see an mg convoy block up the motorway again lol

The one I liked the look of most is the crumball 'italian job' or mission impossible tour. And from the rules on their website the car has to be no more than £200 value or a 2 seater soft top with an engine no bigger than 2.5L. So guessing you couldn't get get away with a porsche or a lambo. And Crumball isn't deemed as a race it's more of a communal drive thing but you get rewards to doing tasks n stuff.

 

Me and a few lads from work were going to partake in the ramshackle rally, untill they got posted to the other side of the country...

We were going to do either Valencia or Pamplona, and join in the festivities with either tomatos or bulls

 

Ahh cool might have to look into that. Went to a music festival in spain a few years ago n just missed out on the tomato festival, always wanted to do that haha.

 

Yeah me and a different bunch of guys are looking into doing it next year... In an old estate of some kind... Vectra 3series or Volvo.... hmmmmm

 

I'd wanna stick with rover, a nice 600 or 800 seen a few around for silly prices. reckon it'd be alot of fun. Or a 25/zr with hgf, get it repaired n running n keep as a project/crazy rat car for afterwards

 

I did one this summer with 4 mates cost around 200 a head all in but that was the car, fuel, entery fee etc and we drove it back and my sister still uses the car lol
