Brillant, this guy Sean Lock (as in picture) was talking about English flags. He was saying how he was at the traffic lights earlier this week, the guy in the car next to him said "oi wheres your England flag" he then said on the show. I brought a car which comes bottom of every bloody survey... a Rover, so you can shove your patrotism up your arse!

Its not entirely true but certainally funny!

Did anyone else see it? Its one of those things you have to watch to find it funny. Jimmy Car's in it too.

Yeah I saw it. He has voiced my arguement about patriotism. How can you be a patriot with an england flag manufactured in China on a foreign car? People love this country when it suits them and slag it off when it doesnt. Thats not patriotism. Do you think I'm taking this too seriously?

Patriotism nowadays is rarer - but it usually involves just the queen. Golden Jubilee of 02 and the 80th birthday celebrations this year are fairly good examples, but then some faithful MG Rover owners bought their cars to be patriotic....

I'm currenlty zipping about in a Yellow 'English' ZR with a little triangular England Flag on the arial (From Marks and Spencer :)).

What is it with Zafiras and those Massive stick on flags... they're everywhere!!!

Emm... If you happen to be a Chinese England fan who drives a Rover?

You got the next line spot on, though. Patriotism is more than just that.
