Just fitted new drilled and grooved front discs and Greenstuff pads all round. Having spent all week wearing them in, they have made a VAST improvement to the mk3 slightly weak stopping power. I recommend contacting Drew at Roverdose about them (these ones are vented, for 200vi, BRM etc) and they made no difference to my insurance premium.. result:bgrin:

Not to piss on your carnival at all, because they look cool.. Especially, the caliper, how long did that take?

My point being though, that I put drilled and grooved EBCs on my 218is.. Then I found a bit of paper in the box they came in telling me which one went on which side..
I'd done it wrong of course...
Yours look like mine did when they were on the wrong wheels.. It might be just different disks or what have you but I thought I'l let you know just in case!! ;-)

LOL is that right? Only they have been making a funny 'wisping' sound, but I thought that was because they were new. I too saw the labels to say which sides they went on, but it appears the mechanic who fitted them didn't:doh:
Better get on the phone then. Cheers!
P.S. they still stop the car like a brick wall, though...

Why are the brakes so poor in the first place.....mine are shockingly poor......My best mate bought a Clio Sport 172 and we had a braking competition at 60 mph.....he stopped probably about 100 metres before me!! :err: That's a big difference.....and could be vital on motorways.....I've been looking into a brake conversion in the last week, and am seriously considering a 4 pot 300mm conversion.....it's going to cost about ÂŁ500 though.....:(
