there is a How to guide here that shows you how to install an arm rest in the "How To" section, and it looks pretty easy, the arm rest are starting to become hard to get a hold of now though

A well worth while mod, gives that bit extra storage space.

Try to get a black one, as it will match the interior better.

Ignore the crap in the footwells, but here is my arm rest:

I have added a additional ciggie lighter for rear passengers. It is used as a additional power for ipods etc.

I personally don't like them, make an already cramped area even worse but it's a case of each to their own and if you like the look, then go for it!

 

The armrest is a worthwhile mod, extra storage space and doesn't really take up any room.
Only negative is that it makes it harder to recline front seats.

Even the latest MG3 SW has one as standard.

 

Definitely a plus! Nice place to rest you elbow - when I came from driving a Mondeo which had one, I kept doing a Delboy onto the handbrake whilst driving haha.

 

I say YES to an Arm Rest, in fact, i'm so for it that I did it TWICE, 25 and 200 now have one !
