Anyone missing the servo bracket upgrade?

Hi,

Came across this great thread around the servo bracket, but sadly a bit late:
http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=507349&highlight=servo+bracket

I have checked my car and indeed the servo flexes a lot :err:
Considering how it is attached I guess most F & TFs servo's are flexing, which can only lead to fatigue wear and disaster with time.

The fix is quite easy and really non expensive thanks to Jason and this community, but when I wanted to order one Jason told me it would need a batch of 10 or so to relaunch the production of the servo bracket as demand had dried out.

It is Xmas time and my MG deserves it, so I am defo ready to go for it.
Is there anyone else who missed on this one and would like to order a servo bracket?

Enjoy the winter time upgrades

Hobby,

All replies to your questions are in the original thread really (link in first post).

The F suffers fom the same problem but you will need a snorkel to be able to put the bracket - all easy, see thread.

My guess is you can get the part delivered to Ireland as I hope to get mine to Paris :)

Let me know if you wish me to put you on the list

Thanks a lot to all of you for your kind replies and also good comments/feedbacks on this great upgrade.

Unless I missed something (in which case please correct me!), that's where we stand currently:

1- Claude111
2- Johnny the Fox
3- xm607 (Steve)
4- Ianto Wraight
5- Martyn-MG
6- Carl M
7- Mellors
8- IAZ185
9-
10-

My understanding is Jason makes them in batches of 10, so we are nearly already there and can sadly only make 2 other MG drivers happy - amazing, this has been posted a few hours ago, thanks to everyone.

So only 2 more parts available: I will complete the list on FIFO basis and come back to Jason once we are 10.

Hobby what's your final view on it, I wouldn't like to discard you of course...

Have a nice day

I will contact Jason again to find out now how to proceed for these orders/payments/shipments and also see if he can accomodate a few more should this list extend further. He is used with the process as he provided already 80 parts recently to the community, so defo the right man for all this :)

Will keep you informed

To ALL...

I liased today with Jason and he was friendly enough to launch ASAP production of a new batch of 12 servo brackets despite busy X-mas time. He will do as fast as he can - I am myself thankfull regardless the potential (and fully understandable) small delay, so again great thanks to him!

The next steps are simple: Jason has this ordering list and will contact each of you directly once the brackets are ready to be shipped. Shipping order will be following the list and payment via Paypal, but Jason will cover all these points directly with you.

I wish to express my thanks to all of you to make this production happen again. We have a great community here :broon:

Happy bracket with Jason and to all Merry :santa:

It is indeed Jason "Jaylad " and all is in his hands now... sorry.

He is aware about this thread... I have no clue if more brackets can be done, it should have been a batch of 10 really... Perhaps if more are interested another thread could be started and another batch made?

This is perhaps best seen with Jason directly?

Sorry for the little help

Claude
