I'm just trying to source my new[ish] ZT-T and I understand from the MG site that you can get an auxiliary power source kit for the boot space? Has anybody fitted one and if so, is it a) neat and b) simple? This would be ideal for my fridge (toddler on board!)

I'm having one fitted in a couple of weeks. There are two types, one goes in the arm rest box, and the other is fitted in the boot wherever required. The arm rest unit costs about £47 including fitting, and the rear unit costs about £87 including fitting. Being as the labour rate is very low for the arm rest one it might suggest that this could be a relatively simple install. The hole for it is already prepared inside the arm rest box. As for the rear i didn't fancy having a crack at that myself, will let you know how it looks once its in.

Thanks for that. I have a friendly, local auto-electrician ready to plum in the iPAQ satnav so it sounds like one for him

Thanks again
