Morning,

I'm currently very tempted of reverting back to an ZT from my Alfa.
Although it may sound silly, one BIG thing which is putting me off the MG is the fact it has a ****ty kenwood slot in CD player (The hassle of having to keep taking the face off it too everytime I park) and not a 'Decent' built in one like most of the 75's.

Is it easily done to change it to just a standard built in one as it already has an auto changer etc cheaply?

Many thanks.

Rob

the ZT I've got has the non-face-off head unit thats in my 75, with the radio/cassette, and fitting for a CD changer in the glove box.

the ZT+ should have the same head unit and the CD changer already installed.

Facelift?

The dealer told me that over the ZT's lifespan they went through about 7 head units.

my 52 plate ZT190 came with the Symphony (http://shop.mg-rover.org/shop/216_3...audio_upgrade_(harmony_>_symphony)/index.html) head unit, which is an upgrade from the Harmony which came with the rest of the range I think. I don't know about the facelifts though.

You should be able to fit that head unit in the facelift ZT, can probably get it cheaper on eBay
