Sorry to thread hog, as it were, but I have just checked and my 75 is coming up as a 116, and I am certain I have read somewhere (I just cant seem to remember where) that the 116 could be upgraded to a 131, back in the days of Rover dealerships. Can that be done now? I just thought it would be worthwhile to try and get it done before I order my synergy box...

that is ofcourse only 131ps, not hp, in BHP thats 129, and meassured at the flywheel aswell (pretty normal for companies to do that) so the "on the road" hp is alot lower. Against my old 140hp Rover 620 though you see the difference in a big way, the 620 can't keep with the 75 cdti, also dont forget that without some tuning (tu3B or Synergy ect) your not going to have the initial acceeration of the same BHP petrol engine.
