Hi, my suspension is needing replaced and i thought why not see if i could put ZS suspension in her. Does anybody know if this is possible without too much work or if it has been done before. My Car is a Rover 420 SDI P reg

The basics and easiest are the springs and dampers.
Then:
Revised top wishbone to change front geometry
Bigger anti roll bars
Harder bushes (I think)
"faster" steering rack

He drives a 1.8 140bhp escort GTi btw.

Well its my first car, i think its fairly nippy, but anyway here's some figures for you
0-60 mph: 10.4 s
Power Output: 103 bhp
Torque: 210 Nm
Top Speed: 115 mph

simple tuning box ups the bhp to around 130 and as Emps says, you get a shed load more torque - it'll feel a damn sight quicker than his Escort anyway.

He probably confusses it with a VW SDi, which is very slow indeed.

and what will that do to the 0-60 times?

must be said, the old torque is low on the 1.8 zetec(compared to rover anyway). His is developing a lowly 128 lbs/ft. Bhp is up a lot tho over the standered 115bhp. last RR came in at 144bhp. it dose shift. b interesting to find out if a 130bhp sdi 400 was quiker tho. anyone want to find out? i'm sure he'd be game.
