I think the issue is sound deadening all round, they don't have any lol
Check the windows sit correctly, mine have little gaps at the front

When the window is closed, if I press the top of the window their is a slight bit of movement. Do you think it's this movement causing the noise? How to stop it?it's possible for the seals to be seated different on each side, with the window closed, press gently on the top seal and see if it moves, obviously if the glass has gone up into it properly, it will support the seal and stop any movement.
Don't have a sun roof so it can't be this. Cheers though.it will be your sun roof seal, read the how to on fixing it
To be honest I've only had the car a week and haven't washed it yet.if the window is not quite meeting one point on the seal, it will whistle as you work... sorry, that should be drive
my windows need to be done up, handle released and then just nudged up again, if someone just does the window up 'till it stops then it usually isn't quite done up... and i usually find out as i wash the car
when you wash the car, do you get condensation on the inside of the window where the seal is?
Nice one, that sounds like a good idea. I'll see how it goes after I wash it.You are lucky. The sunroof is the only thing I don't like on my car. Mine is sealed shut. Was thinking of putting solar panels behind it to keep the battery topped up and take some of the load off the alternator during daytime driving, maybe free up a quarter of a horse. lol. I have noise coming from my passenger wing mirror but I can only hear it if I Have the window down. My drivers side window was making noise but I pulled the window rubber out of it's seating and put it back lightly and let the window push it home. That solved the problem for me.

Was planning on washing it this morning but good old north east weather.....it's raining. When I do I'll keep and eye out for condensation.

I know shocking isn't it? However I have righted this wrong today after work. Looking beautiful again now!!!mg2: you've had it an entire week and haven't washed it???
rain just helps wash off the soap... and means you don't have to dry it off
Don't take the rubber right out or you will probably end up having to strip the door to get it back in properly, Just pull it down slightly along the top edge and let the window re-seat it.Nice one, that sounds like a good idea. I'll see how it goes after I wash it.
Would be a bit nervous pulling the window rubber out though.
I purposely went out and washed my car in the rain coz I couldn't be arsed shammying it. Coz every time I do dry it off propper the sea gulls seem to appear. Especially when I spend half a day on it. Sods law i guess.I know shocking isn't it? However I have righted this wrong today after work. Looking beautiful again now!!!
Aye I don't live to far from the coast so I know what you mean about seagulls, ******ing typical. So I guess I won't be the only MG lover out washing my car in the rain then? :lol:I purposely went out and washed my car in the rain coz I couldn't be arsed shammying it.
