ZR turns off when driving!!!

My MG ZR has started turning it self off when i have been diving. The full light pannel goes and i need to quickly turn it off and on again to get control back. My alarm dont work and the srs light is on constantly. Any one have any idea why why it turns its self off?

What year, how often does it happen. sounds like it may be a loose connection.

A couple of point.

It wont be the alarm switching the vehicle off, a safety function of the alarm is it wont disable the vehicle whiles driving.

The SRS light - this maybe the wires under the front chairs, The people in the back seem to find these wires very well, just make sure the wires are connected to the seatbelts (located under the chairs)

Seems like a bad earth. Check the battery to body earth strap. Also have a look at the underbonnet relays to make sure they are sat properly, Check the ECU wiring connector too.

Its a 51 plate, its happened 3 times in the past two weeks, i will give the wires a look cheers.
