Dont know whether this one belongs in the how do I section so please feel free to budge it if it does.

I'm gonna order the Janspeed/PTP performance backbox and midsection for my ZR 160 (£280 in total not bad me thinks!) and I'd like to know if anyones had a go at changing the exhaust system before?

I know on some cars (like Renault clio's!) the original system has to be cut out (not fun!) in order to fit a new backbox, is this the case with the ZR? or is it pretty much a nut + bolt job?

I've fitted backboxes before but never a mid-section so any input anyone has would be great along with any "suprises" I should watch out for!

Cheers

nut and bolt jobbies as mentioned and lots of blood and sweat(well mine was), be prepared for some serious cursing if your doing it on your own in your drive with not a lot of room to move and bolts that are rusted solid !!

on a 160 I think you also have a post Cat Lamda.

IIRC you dont put any gasket sealant pre cat and labda.
