Okay, since I've seen so many people asking how to fix their keyfob problems in here and got real good help, I thought I'd pose my problem too:

The keyfob on my car hasnt been working since its previous owner.
I went to a keyfob specialist (not rover) who tested the keyfob with a new battery and said that it does emit a signal, so the keyfob si not dead.

earlier I tried resynching the little ******* for about half an hour, and it did unlock the car once!! only once... so there's a tiny little hope :)

no need to point out at how much expensive rover is when it's about replacing the keyfobs (here even more than in the UK) so I'd like to see what you guys think about my problem.

nope, there's a black cube in the fusebox with the same brand as my keyfob, does it have anything to do with it?

also I know the areal is used for recieving the signal but i read somewhere that it uses the rear window heater lines as areal?
anyone can give me the facts on the reciever in the car?
