Basicly I'm looking to buy a bmc cda induction kit for my 214 but I would I be able to transfer it to a non-vvc 1.8 or would I need a different kit? If I can do that were's a good place to get one from online thats not ebay??

yay lol but I was going to put a 52mm throttle body on my 1.8 zr when I get it does that mean It won't fit?

i am sure the external diameter is the same no matter what size internal diameter or they would have had to **** about with different air box tube sizes etc.

good point im taking mine in for a long due service and oil change next week hopefully that'll unluck some ponys as well. Still trying to find a a good place online to buy a bmc kit anyone got a good web address????

You need to buy the model for the larger engine if you want to transfer it. The 1.4 version does not flow enough for the VVC.

So get the CDA85 which is overkill in the short term, but overall money better spent.
