Pollen Filter, they aren't so much.

When was the last time the coolant was changed..?
3 years ago according to service book! Pollen filter... Good shout
Bleed

As you are doing the front disc`s and getting the hydaulic fluid out for the clutch, I would change the fluid in the brake system :spanner:
Hi dont forget those plenum drain holes if you have not done them already and how about the PCV Crankcase Filter. :spanner:Skicon.
Empty the ash tray, very important.
Thanks for reminding me.. I have a half smoked Cigar in there... :err::naughty:
Are you removing the injectors to clean them?

Nah will just be running a cleaner solution in my fuel tank and letting it do the work as I had th injectors replaced at the start of the year!
Seeing as I need two biggys of oil... can anyone reccomend a good offer for suitable Oil??

10W40 Semi-Synth?? Is that all i need to look for..

what is this Part synthetic that keeps on coming up?
Just got a pretty decent deal on Millers XFE 10w40 Diesel ... Seen it recomended by some peeps on here after a search!

£47 delivered for 10 Litres :)
Costco in Westhill are selling 20 Litre of Chevron 10/40 Suprememe semi synthetic for £29+vat. Thats a mere £1.70/litre according to my arithmetic, got to be good vlaue

That is very good value!! Ill maybe send me ol' pa over to pick some up as that would be handy!!
Still debating on the Discs and Pads but just bought an EGR valve to add to the Service schedule..

Seems pretty much everything for a 90k Service.

Hello Figo, I'm in Aberdeen too, and also giving the CDTi a service.

the 75 and ZT forum has an excelent guide on the 'how to' section, on how to do an oil change on a diesel. The how to guide was done by chap of excellent standing and immense talent.... ahem!

Anyway, get some waxoyl and get busy 'clarting' it on those bits that the road salt will hit in Winter.

Have a good looky at the condition of the brake lines too.. replaced a N/S front one this week myself. They corrode a bit, but fortunately dealers up here seemed to 'clart' the lines with copperease from the word go. So I'm lucky to have got off with only one front one in 7 years!

If you need a hand with this service, just PM me!

cheers very much! Im having a titter at the "City of potholes" bit... im constantly weaving in and out still! thank goodness the Z handles well!
It's absolutely atrocious the condiiton of the roads up here isn't it?

Had a tour around the NE today (Aberdeen, Cairn o' mount, Laurencekirk, Banchory, Aboyne (rozzers with a hairdryer in layby) Ballater and back)

, dodging potholes left right and centre!!!!

It`s not just your roads up North.......all over the roads are poor!

Wow tel me about this one £47 for 10 litres delivered sounds good. I paid £29 for 5 litres from Champion Motors in Bradford and they are known to be cheap. I always use Millers - Is this the price of full synthetic - I suspect not!
