Window Stop - Top Bracket

Been having problems with the car since we picked it up a couple of weeks ago with the window going past where it should stop.

Having read up on here I thought simple, buy a new windows stop (v3 round one) and that must be the problem. On removing the door card found the membrane has already been removed and not replaced but they had already fitted the replacement part I was going to add.

After looking at the problem for a couple of minutes and more internet reading it seems I need one of the plastic upper stops. I don't have one nor is it in the bottom of the door.

Any ideas what they are called and who sells them? - pic shows yellow plastic part I need.

Can't see it in that diagram but I have improved the pic a bit to show the bit I am missing.

Thats funny I was going to post the same thing tonight although without pictures, It seems to have been removed on my drivers side!
freakmode. You need part No CUN 100390. Look at Petevick's reply diagram part No 5. A couple of nimble fingers and small socket fixes it in minutes and rember it is this that controls the window height.
Cheers Frenchie for pointing that out - I would not have know that I needed that part from the diagram. Where would be the best place to order one from?
As I live in France I Take pot luck for parts, but have always found MGF Centre in Wolverhampton really good. You will talk to Carl or Bill on 01902 453100 , end of prob!!
I picked up a couple recently from Brown and Gammon:

http://www.ukmgparts.com/

give them a call and ask to go through to the parts department. They only have used ones, but the ones I got were in OK condition.

Fitting it is easy, here are a couple of threads with me wittering about window alignment recently:

And heres a good site which talks you through the whole window thing:

Follow the link to window adjustment.

I'm thinking of going into therapy over my window rattle issues, so good luck!!
