Hi

I have a meshed windbreak which I got with the car. Now the weather is here I have fitted it and am finding that I cannot get the screws to go tight enough and when I get to any speed it falls forward, making it useless!

Is there a knack to it (its not just strength as hubby has done it too) or perhaps I need new screws? If so where can I get them?

All help appreciated!

Lisa, I used to set mine leaning a bit forwards when I had a mesh one. It seemed to work better than completely upright. Mind you, it never quite made it as far as the head rests.

Which mesh one have you got? If it's the Newtopn/B&G one then you should be able to replace all bolts and nuts with nyloc type - they should stay tight.

buy 2 back set screws they need an allen key to tighten and undo, they look better tighten better and make windstop a little less easy to steal.
