Fraid not, only the TF160 multispokes, Trophy wheels or Superlights fit

I found this site which shows the TF 160 and the Trophy wheels, but doesn't mention that the trophy ones will fit the AP brakes, am I looking at the wrong trophy ones?

The F Trophy wheels will fit over the AP calipers but the style of wheel may not suite the TF. The superlights aren't that light and very-very expensive if you can get hold of them.

 

with the 16inch square bar wheels fit with spacers ?

 

They may with very big spacers but it's not a very good idea.

 

I saw that the TF 160 wheels fitted over the AP brakes from the site but was unsure about the trophy ones as it didn't mention them, tbh I like the look of the other ones in the first link so think I'm just gonna go for those and paint them anthracite. If I feel the need for bigger brakes at a later date then I'll worry about it then if they don't fit with spacers :err:

 

why not i know you can fit the hair pin ones with spacers ? what are the down sides of spacers?

 

Premature wheel bearing failure, dodgy handling and tyres not fitting under the wheel arches etc. The eBay 160 with square spokes did look like the spacers used were very thick.

 

i dis like the 11 spoke alloys and really want the 16 square bar ones but i also want ap's so is there some compramise ?

Unfortunately as Chris said the 6 spoke are thick spokes and would need whopping great spacers which would put strain on the hubs possibly resulting in you losing half your car upon hitting a large hole/bump

 

oh for **** sake! it wud have looked so awesome with 6 spoke wheels n ap's grrr i dnt wanna be like every one else and have to get the 11 spoke to have ap's or better brakes

I've got a TF 135 with 240mm brakes and 15 inch wheels, I'd like some slightly larger wheels, I'm looking at these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....iewItem&item=230242477075&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:uk with the intention of spraying them anthracite and putting new tyres on them when I get a chance, but I may be looking to upgrade the front calipers to the AP ones which I understand only fit underneath some wheels, would they fit under these? If not, which ones am I looking at?

Just a quick thought, but I put MS hub adapters on mine, then you not only bring your wheels out by a fare few mm's but you can fit many more four stud 17" ones on it

 

i have never seen a F with both these on do you have a link i could look at ?

also if i cant have that combiation of wheels n ap's is there any other upgrades that i cud get which wud improve the braking

There's the chance to fit 280mm dics with an adaptor for the standard caliper
(e.g. B+G sell them).

That's what they look like to me, they look like big discs with the OEM (non AP calipers). The MGF Centre now sell new brake claipers that fit under most F/TF wheels for around £750.

 

I got a set OF AP Calipers for sale if anyones interested as I can't be bothered to change the wheels on our 115 version

here is one of them. £130.00 plus postage before I put them on eBay.

Used pads are there but no disks. To be honest I would fit new disks and pads if I were to fit them to ours anyway. That would be the safest thing in my opinion.

Well the wheels went for £110 earlier, which I thought was a bit too steep considering the curbing and lack of tyes, does this style come up on ebay very often? where else might I be able to pick up a set?
