Will I have SPI or MPI?

I have the 8c SOHC 1.4 in my 200 and ive read that both of the above result in the 75 HP so which would i have?

Im guessing SPI was only on an older (wedge) 200?

Or maybe there is some way of telling if it could be either?

SPI was used on the earlier R8 1989 to 1992 on 8V and 16V engines. Also used on the Metro from 1990 to 1994 and the Rover 100 upto 1996 when the 8V became MPI. Unless it was an automatic, that stated SPI till then end of production.

So yours will be the MPI. Give away is the airbox. All SPI models airbox goes across the rocker cover and they all have triangle shaped air boxes.
