Thanks to MG Motor I had a chauffered spin round the circuit in the orange MG6 between races, and it was very impressive; funnily enough I'm almost certain it was the same car that a few weeks back I'd driven round the Longbridge site. Everything was well screwed together, the finish was first class (even if not everything was 100% to my taste - like others I also prefer the 'old' MG ZT which had class). There was nary a squeak or a rattle and it was roomy in the back (for my 5' 8" daughter). This was also only the non-turbo, whereas Euro spec cars will be 1.8T (and later home-grown diesels). My daughter (coming up to 17) wasn't 100% convinced though - she decided she wants an MGB!

It does grow on you, though, like a quirky looking girl who turns out to be the best sh@g you ever had!
