hello everyone,
just been looking through auto trader and i was amazed at how many 416s there are for sale and at very cheap prices.there are 1999 models on there from 1400 to 2000 pounds,okay they may have more than average mileage but this is still cheap for a car this age.
does anyone know the reason why and are they a good buy at this price with around 80000 on the clock.

At £1400 for a 99 416 with 80k, I'd say that's a very good buy.

these are from dealers too not private sellers,dont see many 416s that have done more than 100000 though i wonder if there are any reasons for this.

When purchasing don't forget to factor in a £500 allowance for HGF.

got my 416 for £100 with 70k miles on it. was ran into the ground tho.

shame these cars sell for so little, as there lovely big motors grab a bargain whil eyou can but aye, best set aside ~500 case the engiens been abused and HG needs doing.

If Traders are selling them for £1400, think what they must have paid for them! Well under £1000 I suspect.

my mate was only offered 1300 as a part ex for his about 9 months ago,his was a 99 416 with 45000 on the clock.

There is also the fact that most Rover buyers either buy the most powerful or the least powerful.
