Cracking show - loved it when I was growing up - I sometimes wonder if shameless took some of its basic ideas from it.

 

If we're going to be strictly accurate, the Boswells are a spin off series of the Liver Birds. In the last incarnation ofThe Liver Birds, Polly got married and in came scatty Carol. She brought with her an extended family - the Boswells. Lucien (Michael Angelis) appeared in the Liver Birds first. Personally I hated Bread, couldn't empathise with any of the characters and so didn't watch it.

By the way, didn't Lucien kill all his rabbits in the end?
