They ARE building mules at Longbridge how else could they get them ready for British roads.

....and why are they spending so much time in the lakes ? must have seen 3 or 4 now including a gold saloon today , with launch still being at least 6 months away why are there so many on the roads ?
they cant all be test mules surely? , are they demonstrators doing the rounds to keep the dealers interested ? or are they staff cars ?

Preproduction MG6 have been coming out of MG Birmingham for some time now. I suspect each batch is testing some changes or production technique.
Be thankful that they are having so much testing before we get a chance to buy one
When they were developing the K series there were a fleet of Mondeos fitted with them zooming about being driven by development engineers.

I think some of them are going out to the dealers for PR purposes. I know that Sterling have one for a few days in a couple of weeks.
Like others have said though, great to see they are getting so many miles on them!

There's some fantastic roads in the lakes to give cars a thorough test.

It creates a bit of a buzz as well really doesn't it. eg "ooh i spotted an MG 6 today."
