1650 in a hired Laguna doing Scotland-Manchester airport, party just outside Blackpool - bing bong Scotland and highlands with guests. I had an MR2 at the time so excuse for the Laguna 4 people.

 

Hmm, I bought my car in the UK, drove around for a few days and clocked up 400 miles then drove home to Sweden via France, Belgium, NL, Germany and Denmark then a further 1600 Km to the north of Sweden before driving a few miles south home.... So all in all, quite a few miles I guess And bar the pressuried filler cap on the water giving out on a German autobahn (I had a spare) All I had to do was fill up on petrol and check the oil and water, all in all a nice trip and just under 6L/100 Km.

The best I have done is 6.47L/100... country driving but I do have some fun on the open road, could prolly better that if I had to. Most in a week is around 2500K, Sydney return (1 day run, 970K x 2) and running around during the week. I go via the Monaro Hwy, great drive.

I presume you mean just for you Chris? It's only 240 miles each way for me - or less than half from home to Nethy Bridge.

 

I did 1200 miles the weekend I went to the waterman meet. Not a single problem mechanically.

 

I don't think mines ever been that high really, i'd reckon the highest was the Pencelli week last year, think that's the furthest it's ever been away from home. I'd say all in with that trip and other driving I must of did about 400 miles.

 

640 miles in a day, Newcastle to East Grinstead return two summers ago, and the only problem was sunburn and dehydration!!

 

I guess Hertfordshire to Monaco and back for a weekend at around 1800 miles plus a couple of diversions is one of my highest mileage weeks. Trip to French Pyrennees and side trip into and along Spanish side of the mountains and back could have been a bit further.

 

1,000 in a weekend.

 

1000 miles in 2 days, Coventry to Rome in a BL Mini, but I shared the driving.

During high speed testing in Germany, some of our drivers could manage 1000 miles in a shift!

 

How high speed. Was it only a 2 hour shift :lol:

 

For me the standard is 600-700 miles per week. Standard not exception...

 

About 1600 - 1700 in a week. Ashington to Rome, and a bit of running around. Got about 35 - 38mpg.

The K luvs da long runs. Mine's hibernating most time of the week due to a company car. But when I feel the urge to have a topless blast around I mostly do not end under 40 - 50 km :lol:

 

In the last week - I have finally achieved 135k on the clock, and added another 600 miles-since friday.
Have never known it run so well - it's just gorgeous to drive at the moment!!

 

Shame we have to do that part of the journey - it's 100 miles each way for me. Start in Dunkerque and it's just a short sprint to Mechelin.

A garage owner I know was telling me about a BMW 320D that clocked up 160,000 miles in 18 months. That is some going.

 

That's around 270 miles a day, every day for 18 months!

 

Apparently the guy drives to Italy on business. For some reason (madness?) he won't fly.
