As title says we discoverd that my old mans freelander doesn't have a lambda sensor on it and the EML never comes on so looks like someone has removed the bulb but was looking for the plug for a lambda sensor is this it ? or is it for something else?

this is like a 6 wire plug unlike the 4 wire lambda sensor that are on ebay
but any help would be great

Can't really answer your question as I don't own a freebie but might be worth asking the question over at http://www.landyzone.co.uk.

Very much like these rover forums but specifically for landrovers... I changed from my Rover 75 tourer to a 300tdi Disco nearly a year ago now and the forum has been a great place for answers...

i confirmd it my self double checking the plug and finding it only has 4 wires but i have joined there today to get a bit of help with another problem but appreciate your input mate

I am about 90% sure that is the lamba probe connector. Has someone just fitted a bolt into the exhaust then instead of a probe?

koolio and not sure whats happend mate looks like someone has welded the hole up on the manifold but i got a replacement and a brand new sensor on its way
